When purchasing from our website, whether it be bikes, kit or hires, we require certain personal information. This includes your full name and contact details. The reason we do this is to a) get your new goods sent out to you as quickly and efficiently as possible; and b) keep a clear and concise record of your purchase history with us, this way if anything should ever go wrong, we are able help you out as best we possibly can; and c) it reduces the risk of potential fraud. We aim to build strong relationships with all our customers and so these steps help us provide that for you.
All payments are processed through our merchant partners such as Paypal. You can read the privacy policy of these companies on their respective websites.
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
When you place an order through with us, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. However, as explained above, this information helps us to help you in future.
Our acceptance of an order takes place on dispatch of the order, at which point the purchase contract will be made. The responsibility for the goods as shipped is ours until you receive your goods. Depending on your chosen method of payment, you may be charged when placing your order.
At YCH we pride ourselves on our excellent service, so if you order from us yet realise upon arrival you require a different size or have just changed your mind, we will offer an exchange where possible, or provide a full refund if preferred. Please be aware, in order to receive this service you must you return the goods unused, in the original packaging and within ten days of the purchase date. However, we cannot reimburse any postage charges in this instance.
Faulty or Damaged Goods - If you happen to receive goods which are of an unsatisfactory quality, these may be returned (with the original packaging in the case of damaged goods), within 14 days, and you will receive a full refund of the cost of the goods plus all postal charges.
When we have processed the returned goods and your card has been credited, we will confirm this via email.
When returning goods we advise you to return products by recorded delivery as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in the post.
The YCH returns procedure does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
